Double-Check: A framework of cultural responsiveness applied to classroom behavior

What is this resource? This article describes and provides examples of how the Double-Check framework promotes identification of cultural inconsistencies in disciplinary practices and supports development of culturally responsive practices that facilitate improvements in student behavior.

Why is it valuable? The Double-Check framework promotes these practices through self-assessment and helps in self recognition of the impact of our own attitudes and beliefs toward students who are culturally and linguistically diverse. Suggested resource of My Brother's Keeper Task Force.
